Our Happy Tails
Barry really is an amazing dog. He is so friendly to everyone and just wants to
be cuddled. We have a big mirror in our living room and he gets a running start
from the kitchen and leaps at it with his toys. It's pretty adorable. He is
definitely enjoying being the king of the castle. He slept in his crate well and it
was so amazing to wake up and have him so excited to see me. Love him!!!
You do such a great thing and we are definitely going to recommend posh
puppies to anyone looking for a doggie.

Hi Helen...just thought I'd drop you a note to let you know how fabulous things have worked out with
Andy...you knew him as Gabriel! I'm sure with all of the pups you deal with, you don't often get to find
out the happy details. Andy is now almost 8 months old and he is just a hoot! He's spoiled rotten..took
about an hour for that to happen!  All he does is smile and wag..a body wag that starts at the
shoulders. Sometimes he waggles so hard and fast that he looks like he's going to take off! He's
definitely all puppy...and boy puppy at that! He's into everything and totally full of mischief. He keeps
us all laughing!  Our older dog, Sam, took to him pretty quickly and they play all the time. It's so great
for her..she's almost 12 and is just like a puppy herself again. Andy  started out at 14 lbs when we
brought him home, and is already over 25 lbs..pretty big for a Lhasa-Poo. We figure he'll end up
between 30 and 35..perfect for what we wanted.
We've given out some of your cards to people who have asked, and hopefully good things have or will
come from that. I hope everything is going great for you guys...what you're doing is wonderful.

Take Care and keep up the good work!

I just wanted to thank you again for Oswald!  He is such a good boy who is very
smart and just a little bit crazy!  I’ve also been complimented many times on his
name, so thanks again!  He loves to play and bounces around all over like a little
rabbit!  He tries sooooo hard not to do things that will result in a scolding and
when he does, my heart just melts because he is oh so sad but he takes it in
stride and doesn’t do it again;)  He is a very smart dude!

Thanks again!!!!!

Hello, Helen!
Just an update on Freddy.... He is the most wonderful dog we
have ever had.  What a cool little guy.  So friendly and great with
the kids.  He had  no trouble settling in and believe it or not, is
about 99% housebroken!!  What a smart little puppy.  Obviously
you took great care of him for him to have such a comfortable
and nice disposition!  We couldn't be happier. Again, if you ever
come across another "Freddy", please contact us.
It's been a pleasure working with you!

Thanks, Helen for the wonderful work you’re doing in rescuing these puppies. Our
poodle Lili is a great addition to our family, and we’ve really enjoyed working with you.
Here are a couple of pictures of Lili (nee Jill) and our poodle Sam. They’ve bonded
wonderfully and play and sleep together constantly.
She’s the smartest dog I’ve ever worked with – smart even for a poodle, which is
saying a lot. Again, thank you so much!!!!!

Helen,
Maddie is doing so well. She is very happy and has warmed up to our
house very well! She runs around everywhere! The whole family just
loves her. She still is very busy. The other day, she made another pug
friend and she now has play dates once a week to play with Nugget. It
is so cute to watch them play, they give eachother kisses and chase
eachother around. Maddie likes to run around the whole house and
jump on everything. She thinks shes a kitty. She sleeps on the top of
the couch and on peoples shoulders. She likes to be dresses up in
little puppy shirts. Also, just yesterday she finally got the courage to
go down the stairs, it was so cute. She went down one stair and took a
break at each one. We just love her so much! Thank you so much for
blessing our family with such a cute puppy!
Thanks Katie
Hi Helen,

Comet has arrived at his new Forever Home and we are all so happy to have
him!!!! We are going to name him Simba Comet . The trip down to the Airport
and back went very smoothly, and Simba slept most of the way home. Oh he is
soooooooooo sweet!!!!
We love him so much already, now he is getting to know all his new sisters and
brother. We'll send pictures as he discovers his new home!

Thanks so much,
Marilyn
My family adopted Crystal, now known as Peaches, in the beginning of June.  We adore her!  She is
such as fun loving little girl!  The kids love playing with her and she loves to cuddle with me.  When
Peaches is in our back yard she just runs and runs and runs.  It's great to watch.  You have done a
wonderful job.  Thank you so much for saving Peaches- we can't remember what it was like without
her!  We have a forever friend and she has a forever home.

Thank you,
Kaeti
Dear Helen-

Thanks so much for matching me with my Min Pin, Williamina.
She is absolutely fabulous.  After losing my two elder Min Pins (16 and 17 years old), 5 weeks
apart this summer, I was devastated.  You were so patient while I pondered with the thought of
adopting a puppy.  You were never forceful or pushy, just compassionate.  Your  kindness will
never be forgotten.  It was quite the journey that led me to Williamina, and you were the leader of
this journey and my fate to have this beautiful dog.  I love this dog more than I ever thought I
could love a dog again.  My family, friends, dog trainer, and neighbors adore her as well.  You are
a hero for all of your dedication in these rescues. I will continue to refer anyone interested in
adopting a pet in the future, to Posh Puppies.

Best of luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Helen,
Just wanted to send you an update on Harley (aka Harvey). He is doing great! He is such a sweetheart.
He is fitting in well with our family, we all just love him to death. He seems to be very happy here and we
are happy to have him. He is very close with me and my daughter. He loves a good belly rub. He is still
timid with my husband and other relatives, but he is starting to come out of his shell. He has made so
much progress in the last month, its amazing compared to his first day here when he wouldn't even make
eye contact. Now he barks if you don't look at him, ha ha. He's learning how to play with toys and he eats
very well. We had him cut down and he looks adorable and I'm sure he's a lot more comfortable. See the
pictures I attached. He looks a lot like my other dog, Abby. They get along pretty good. They have their
moments where they play a little too rough, but they are inseperable. One won't go out without the other.
He's doing pretty good with his potty training as long as I stay on him every few hours to go out. We've
had him to the vet for routine visits and for his scratching. They said its allergies (which I pretty much
knew). So they are both on special food and meds to keep the scratching under control. Take care and
again "thank you" for this wonderful boy!

Thank you so much for Sherman! Our ancient beagle boy passed to the bridge mere days
after we acquired Sherman and he has definitely filled the hole in our hearts and home!
He's starting his third week of day training at Kennelwood next week and is his trainer's
favorite student. He's also the staff's favorite--they adore him as much as we do! He's
learning a lot and his manners are quite impressive for such a young pup.

He housetrained in 7 days and is already the most obedient dog I've ever owned. Going
from an old dog to a puppy was quite an adjustment, but Sherman is such a sweet
boy--we are so grateful we found him when we did!

Thank you again for such a wonderful addition to our family!
Hi!
I wanted to send you a little "hello" and tell you what a great addition "Collin" (we
now call him "Jake") has made to our family.  He is such an incredibly sweet dog
and is fitting in perfectly with our family.  We also have a Cairn Terrier named
Jersey, and they have become the best of friends.  I wanted to send you a couple of
pictures to show you that Jake is thriving and happy and we are so thankful that we
found you...and our sweet Jake.  Thank you so much.  We are so happy!

Helen,

You are a Godsend to have taken such good loving care of my new precious "Puffy"
Drew Stewart! He has a wonderful demeanor and is really enjoying himself in California!

Puffy, myself and all those who have met and smiled because of him thank you from the
bottom of our hearts.

Keep up the good work and enjoy the photos!

Forever grateful,

Hi Helen,
Just wanted to let you know how  much we love our newest member of the family!!! He absolutely
loves to help with everything. As you can see in the picture he is very tired out just now. I think we'll
have to try taking another picture tomorrow when he's not so tired. He gets me up around 6:00
every morning and we go up to the garden so that I can water all my veggies and work on weeding
and just garden stuff, then he runs all over up there playing with my other fur babies and when he
gets tired he finds a cool place to sleep and he curls up and takes a nap!! I'm going to get some
pictures of him up  in the garden playing and send them to you so you can see how much fun he
has up there.
We are so glad that we have Simba Comet.

Marilyn
I just wanted to thank you for giving me and my family such a wonderful puppy.
We adopted Riley (Norton) last weekend. He is a very happy, sweet, silly, and
loving dog. He fit right into our family from the day we brought him home. We
took him to the vet on Monday and he was given a clean bill of health - not a
single flea, ear mite, and no worms! He is doing great and we love him already!

Again, Thank you

Hi Helen!
I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving me
the opportunity to take home Seamus (you knew him as Mugsy.)
He is just the sweetest little dog, and I can't tell you how much fun
we have been having! Even though he is completely deaf, we have come along way!  He is even
going to be in a training video! I am trying my hardest not to spoil him too much, but with a facelike
that, it is hard to resist! He loves to prance around like a gazelle after his favorite toys, and
he loves playing with all of his new friends at doggy daycare!  He is
just a hoot to watch. The whole family has fallen in love with this little guy!
He is growing up so fast, and every moment is fantastic!  He has
already gained 15 lbs, but the vet says that he will be small for a
boxer. He has been the perfect addition to my home,
and I really can't thank you enough!
Thanks again!

Today, makes one week since I've adopted Marley. I just moved to Springfield,
Illinois from Cincinnati, Ohio for a job as a preschool teacher, and its a challenge
being in a new city, and you dont know anyone. Marley has brought me so much
happiness and companionship, and I love him so much! With him, I dont feel so
lonely anymore. Marley is doing great, he's full of energy and loves to run about,
cuddle, and play with me and his toys. Everyone we come across when we're out
just adores him, and he's the sweetest, most playful, loving little guy a person
could ask for! I thank again so much for allowing me to adopt Marley. He is doing
great, and we're both happy! Thanks Again! We'll be in touch :)

Hi Helen

I want to thank you so much for my new companion....He is now known as "Olly".
My husband and I just love him so much.
He's lying in my lap as I type.  Olly is such a sweet little guy and full of suprises.  He
has managed to escape the GATE at
least three times a day.  He knows where to go to the bathroom and gets to sleep
in the bed with us quit often.  Attached are
pictures of him on vacation.  I must say he doesn't like heights very much!

Thank you again
Diana
Hi Helen, I just have to tell you how much we love Besse (we changed her name to Macee
because the kids had already wanted that for a name).  She is so adorable.  It is funny because
when I said let's go outside today she ran to the door with Jack.  She loves to snuggle up and put
her head into our necks, and loves to play. I left to go to work for a few hours today and when I
went home she was jumping all over me because she was so happy to see me!  We were
laughing yesterday because she was playing with a toy with Jack and they were going back and
forth with it and she looks like she is hopping when she is running.  Here is one picture of them
(this is a bed I bought for Macee, but Jack decided he wanted it!!)  I will send more, but I just
wanted to let you know we are so happy to have her!

Hello,
I just wanted to let you know Trudy ( now Kate) is doing very well.  She is in her
5th week of puppy class.  She has learned a lot on her own at our farm, important
things like goats are NOT my friends.  She's getting to be a big girl 60 lbs and
counting.

Have a great day, Teresa and Elaine.
Hi Helen,
Want you to know that Hannah is adjusting amazingly well! Not
one accident so far, pottying like a champ in my yard and has
already fallen in love with one of my neighbor's dogs. She is
precious and we have become instant buddies!

Thank you! , Jane
Helen,

Miley is "home" now and I wanted to share a couple of pictures of her
homecoming.  She is out with Greg checking the gas wells and had no trouble
finding the front seat of the pick up!  We are so grateful that you have
provided Greg with his perfect companion.  Thank you!

Greg & Deb , Fredonia, KS.
We wanted to update you on Jillian (we call her Bailey – she is pictured
in the front left with her new sister Lilly).  She is a sweet, lovable dog
and has made a great addition to our family!  She loves to play and
cuddle…we are so happy to have her!

I just want to thank you so much for our little Hannah. We call her Ellie now and she
is doing wonderful. She is so loving and so much fun to play with. She is the
sweetest puppy I have ever seen and she is such a fast learner. We have only had
her for two days and she goes potty outside almost all of the time. She is the best
thing that has happened to us. Even my husband has fallen for her. Honestly, it's
hard not too. It's amazing how fast  a puppy can become a  part of the family! She
has brought so much happiness into our home and I just wanted to thank you for
that. We couldn't be happier!

Hi Helen!

We made it home safe and sound with Licorice last night.  He is such a great little traveler, slept in
Ana's lap or his new fleece bed the whole way home!  In fact, he's still sleeping this morning. =)
We heard him bark for the first time last night at Jim's parents' house, meeting & playing with his
cousins: they have three Miniature Dachshunds!

Thank you again, Helen!  We are thrilled with our new baby! =)

Good morning,
Just a quick note to say a very big thank you! Sherman and the girls are
getting on wonderfully:} the vet and groomer is in love and anybody else
for that matter! He didn’t understand the stairs at first but that didn’t stop
him from getting down he rolled before I could stop him. He got up shook
off watched his sister’s and had it down pat. It is wonderful watching him
run around with the girls in the back yard. And of course my husband and
I are in love with him. We will send pictures soon of squirmy shermy and
the rest of the crew soon.

Don’t stop saving the kids.
Sincerely, Theresa
Hi helen

I just wanted to let u know that everything is going great with Sebastian!
He was a little nervous when we first picked him up at the airport but
now he won't stop giving us kisses! I couldn't be more happy! Thank you

Hi Helen,

Here are some photos of Milo.  He is doing so well.  We love him so much, and so does
everyone who meets him.

Thanks so much. - Simone
I WANT TO THANK YOU FOR THE RESCUE SERVICES YOU PROVIDE.I LOVE MY LITTLE
BUGSY, THE PUG. I HAVE HAD HIM FOR 2 WEEKS AND I FEEL LIKE WE HAVE HAD
EACH OTHER FOR YEARS. HE IS THE SWEETEST AND MOST LOVING LITTLE GUY. HE
WALKS ON A LEASH AND IS DOING PRETTY GOOD ON HIS OUTSIDE DUTIES.  HE IS MY
BEST BUDDY. THANKS AGAIN FOR ALL YOU DO FOR THESE PRECIOUS LITTLE GUYS.

Hi Helen,
You will be so happy to hear about the progress with Colton's potty training! He has gone
outside for the last 24 hours! I got up about every 3 hours during the night and he went each time!
Yeah! He does hate to get his feet wet when the grass is dewy, but he is getting used to it! He was
rolling in the grass in the sunshine today and he loves to take a walk up and down the street.
Just one time is enough to wear him out! He looks so adorable with his new hair cut and beautiful
blue leather collar with a couple rhinestones!! I found a healthy bone he loves to chew, chew,
chew! He is so cute how he runs around the coffee table, around the couch, into the kitchen
around the island, then back to do it all again! We just love him! Some new pictures attached.

Thanks so much for our little Colton!
Pati
Hi Helen,
Meeko is doing great! She is such a little sweetheart and is being pampered like a princess. She
just loves running about, playing with her toys, and chasing Marley around. Both of their
personalities together are like two young siblings that vie for mommy's attention. The three of us
are just one big happy family, and i couldnt ask for 2 better pugs than Marley and Meeko! They
are known as the "grandpugs" to my mom and dad. Everyone just loves them. Thank you so
much for allowing me to adopt them both.

We'll visit again soon! De'Andra
Hi Helen,
I would like to thank you for allowing me to adopt Benny (known as Mr. Hollywood, now). He is 8
months now and so loving. He loves to play and loves the attention to be on him at all times. He is so
friendly, everyone that meets him just falls in love with him. I have a mirror in my bedroom and he
likes to get a running start through the house, jumps up on it and finishes his laps its so funny to
watch him do this. Within the last couple of months, Hollywood discovered his bark and now he uses it
a lot. Especially, when he gets excited during play time. I am so thankful that he is in my life now. We
cuddle and play all the time. He is so spoiled, too! He graduated from Training school at PetsMart this
summer and was the life of the class. He always got all of the other puppies in class worked up, ready
to play! He had a graduation cap, but he was so interested in playing I couldn't get it on him! LOL
Your shelter is a blessing to many animals and people.
Keep up the great work you are doing!

P.S. I always tell people about your shelter,
so hopefully when they are ready to adopt.
They will come to your shelter to do so.

Dear Posh Puppies:
We are so grateful to have sweet Zoe in our home for good.   She is so
wonderful and has adjusted very well to our family and home.   WE all love her
very much and she is getting very spoiled.  She has so much personality and is
so perfect.  She loves car rides and looking out the window watching the kids
play in the neighborhood.

Thank you so much for Zoe ( we kept her name, it fits her very well)

Hi Helen!

I know it's been awhile since I adopted Norman, (previously
named Archie) but I wanted to let you know how much I adore
him.  He is the sweetest little trouble maker ever!  He's been with
me since June and just had his 9 month birthday.  Norman and
my other dog, Howie, spend most of their time playing and laying
together on the couch.  He has been a wonderful addition to my
little family and can't imagine life without him now.  Thank you so
much for allowing me to adopt Norman!  Have a happy New Year!

         Sincerely,

wants to play and be loved.  Thank you so much!!!  Chloe is apart of our family know
and we all love her!!!!  She started puppy class and is doing great.  We are so thankful
for Posh Puppies because without you we wouldn't have such an amazing puppy.

I am so sorry I have not sent you these pictures and video sooner. Oreo (Bobby) keeps me busy!
I am still completely in love with my new little guy. Hard to believe I have had him for nearly a month! He is getting really good at the
potty training thing and we have fewer and fewer accidents in the house. He loves to play indoors and out. He can entertain himself
in the backyard forever just running around chasing leaves and sticks and his toys. He is quite comical to watch sometimes. And,
he is getting more comfortable with the leash and we enjoy our daily walks – sometimes 2 or 3 times a day! He had a hard time
eating all of his food at first and now it seems he can’t eat enough. I have kept him on the Science Diet and he gobbles it all up. I
cannot tell you how many people have told me how cute he is (of course, I agree). Everyone speculates he is part Boxer.
I was going home every lunch for 2 hours to play with him and let him outside, but my mom came out to visit me from Michigan for
the month of February. It is nice to have her here as she keeps Oreo company during the days while I am at work, but now I have
some competition for cuddle time!
Thanks again for your help and for taking such good care of him before me. I am so thankful for what you are doing to help these
little guys find new homes. I can’t imagine not having Oreo in my life. He just warms my heart!
I hope you enjoy the pictures. We made a video just for you, too, but I will send it in a separate email due to size.

Helen,
Attached are a couple of photos of “Sebastian” who has been renamed Archie (for the St. Louis Arch).  As
you can see he is growing up and seems to be turning into true Alaska dog.  He gets along great with his
‘big brother’ Edggar and his cat, Zig.   He loves to meet new dog friends and is a smart little guy.  Thanks
for all your help!

Suzanne , Kodiak Alaska
It was a big day for him but he really handled it well. He was a little scared at the airport but as soon as he met the dogs he
perked up.  And today he
is bright eyed and ready to go. I've stayed home with him and while he was good with us last night today, he's actually seeking
me out from time to time.  (Of course I hover over him constantly just to be sure we keep our no accident record). (By the way
whatever shampoo you use sure smells great!)  And he cuddles really really well!

He is home and we love him!

Susan
Dear Helen and staff,  Thank you so much for such a sweet little Boston
Terrier girl.  We named her Tillie and my girls are crazy about her.  I
have to make sure they don't spoil her too much!  She is so loveable and
cuddly!  It was a great Christmas adding Tillie to our family.  Our vet was
amazed at how well she had been cared for after her rescue.  All her shots
were up to date and she is in perfect health.  She has grown a lot in the
month we've had her!  She is just a delight.  I will try to send you a
picture soon.  Thanks so much again!

Hi Helen,

Just wanted to let you know what a sweet boy Chandler is!!!  He is definitely the "big
man on campus" here, everyone just adores him.  He so smart and friendly!  He loves
to run around our courtyard, dashing between people's legs and around bushes or
just sit in the sun with one of his toys.  Thanks so much for allowing me to have
Chandler in my life.

Thanks again,

Emily
I wanted to let you know that Jenny is doing really good. We are so happy to have her in our
home as a part of our family. She is so spoiled, gets atteltion every second we are home. We
are working with the house training, but she is starting to get it. Thank god for carpet
shampooers. lol. We feel so blessed to have her in our home and I plan to call the vet tomorrow
to get her physical and rabies booster taken care of.  She follows all of us around the house
and gets up on the couch to cuddle, perfect loveable puppy.  I am so happy that I found her
and you approved our application.

Thank you for contributing to our family in one of the greatest ways possible.

Heather
Just wanted to let yall know that Misty is adjusting well to her new home....we have had NO
problems with her...and as you can see by the pics she has made herself very much at
home...lol..Her and Lady are getting used to each other and play a little but Misty would rather be
with us...lol.....oh well that may change when the weather gets nicer and she gets more used to
being around a puppy all the time...and as you can see they are "hanging out"... (and ...ON MY
BED...... even though they both have ones of their own!).....LOL...thanks so much

Boydette
Dear Aunt Helen,
It's been 10 days since we've brought Henri "aka Spanky" (name still might change) home.  He has
completely stolen our hearts.  From the moment we entered Posh Puppies and set our eyes on this
little guy we knew that we had been waiting for him and he for us.  He did a happy frenchie puppy
dance in his big bed in his crate and slept the whole way home to Chicago.
To all that meet him and to us, especially, him he is infinitely charming, cuddly, goofy, wickedly
smart and most of all, a complete loveball.  Everybody that walks past us in the yard stops dead in
their tracks.  Except for the one comment "are you sure that's not a rabbit?" all have fallen under
his spell and go out of their way to see/pet him.
The entire vet's office had their iPhones out taking pictures of him and they actually call randomly
and want updates.  He is healthy, happy and beautiful.
I know how hard it was for you to say goodbye and we can certainly never thank you enough for all
you did.  We promise to keep in touch and send you more information and pictures of the
handsome guy as he grows up!

Much love always,Sandy and Marco,Chicago
Hi Helen,
I know I promised pictures but I am behind on loading them into the PC. Anyway,
Ella is doing great, she is getting big! She is truly a POSH puppy-she believes that
all soft surfaces ( my bed, sofas, the other dog's beds)  in the house are here for her
to nap on!!! Her favorite sleeping position is on her back, belly up with all four legs
spread eagle- she looks ridiculous. But she is truly happy. We love her so much.

Thanks again!Jane
Helen & Everyone at POSH PUPPIES RESCUE!!!!
Oh my gosh!!!!!   WHAT ANGELS we have!!!!  THANK YOU SOOOOOO MUCH for being there for Snickers
& Ollie.  We don’t know what we would have done WITHOUT them!!!  THEY ARE SUCH JOYS in our
lives!!!  We know they have only been ARIZONA Residents for 5 days, but they are FOREVER HOME
with us!!!!!
WE are soooooo grateful for how WONDERFUL you take care of all these little 4-legged kids that are
just “tossed” away!  THANK GOD FOR ORGANIZATIONS such as YOURS!!!!!   WE LOVE OUR LITTLE BOYS
and could not imagine our lives without them!!!!! Notice in one picture, Ollie has found his way into the
middle part of our dining room table.  He crawls in there looks like he is in jail and terrorizes little
Snickers by putting his little arms & hands out thru the bars.  We heard Snickers BARK for the first
time yesterday when he done that.  Oh my gosh----WHAT JOYS!!!!!
We have enclosed some pictures of them and will send you more as the days go on.  Take care and
THANKS for taking care of our boys!!!!!!
Deb, Bob, Ollie, & Snickers
Ollie & Snickers say hi to all of you!!!
Thanks for everything!
Hi Helen!
I am sure you'll remember Monroe who is now "Monte". He and I bonded at first sight. He's the dearest little
guy and we're both loving our life together. He's about 15 pounds and still loves to play, play, play. He's
getting to do so lots and socializing several times a week at Camp Bow Wow,
One of his favorite places is the beach. He loves to chase after a big rubber ball that I kick along the shore
and meet and play with the other dogs on the way. He is so cute and funny. My sister has a little Malti-Tzu a
few months older and they are best friends. They play til they drop and keep us laughing and constantly
entertained.
Needless to say I am so grateful to have found him and thank you so much for allowing me to adopt. Right
now he is snoozing next to me while I write. He recently got a very short haircut (had too much matting) and
looks so different but just, if not more, adorable. The attached picture is of him playing at camp just after
the haircut. He seems to be more comfortable w/short hair.
This week we are starting an obedience class called "Dancing With Your Dog". I can't imagine how it works,
but have heard it does and is very much fun.I am also getting together w/ a group of friends who all have
dogs for a camping trip soon.
I think eventually I will be getting another puppy since Monte really loves to play and be with other dogs,
but for now we're doing just fine.

So I must say thank you again Helen and hope all is well with you.
Take care, Ceile and Monte!
Hi Helen,
Just to let you know that Riley (aka Sandy) is doing well and
growing.  He is now 17 lbs, no longer the tiny little man.  He is a
clown and can at times be a little stubborn.  I have attached two
pictures taken of him last week to show what a rough life he now
has.
Thanks again,

Hi Helen,

Just wanted to send a quick note to let you know that Angel is doing great!!!  She is such a good little bully girl
and we're having a blast as a family with her.  Her food aggression is all but gone...I can even pet her while
she eats!!!  She seems like she is very happy here and loves having so many playmates!!!  She even made a
huge impression on all the staff at the vet's office!!   Thank you so much for helping us adopt Angel she's
everything we hoped for and more!!!

Thanks,

Pam
Helen,
Just wanted to update you on Emmett.  He is growing by leaps and bounds.  He will be 6 months
old soon.  He has adjusted very well to our home.  I have had a trainer coming to the house each
week since he came to us.  He has learned many things and I have too!  We also had to help our
13yr. old Bichon, Snowball, adjust to having a puppy in the house.  Now they are good buddies.
Unfortunately, Snowball has become quite ill and Emmett is so sweet to him.  He comes up to him
and snuggles him and gives him kisses.  He is a sweet boy.  Thank you for all you do.  I keep
looking at the pictures of puppies and I know we will be calling you again soon.  I have attached a
few pictures of Emmett and Snowball.  These were taken on Emmett's first trip to the groomer.
They are both looking pretty sharp and they know it!

Thank you,
Elena
Helen,
Just wanted to drop you a note about Hannah. I'm sure you still remember her, since shposhe's
only been gone a few days, but she is the black Pug adopted Monday, March 9. She is such a joy.
She sits on my lap as I type this. She is very special and has the best personality. Not to mention
what a smart little cookie she is as well. Her vet checkup was today and all is well. The vet even
had trouble trying to remove her hernia stitches because she was trying to snuggle. As soon as
he was finished with her though, she wanted her mommy. We are so in love with her and want to
thank you so much for what you do. You are an angel to these precious puppies. You have made
the lives of many dogs and humans better because of what you do-Thanks Again. I will always
reccommend you to anyone looking for a new puppy.

Sincerely,
Amanda
Hi Helen,
I just wanted to give you an update on "Logan" we call him Mickey!!  He is the absolute sweetest,
most playful, healthy baby!!!!!!!!!! When he is home, he goes nuts, running, jumping, romping,
barking, chewing (but also plenty of sleeping/cuddling on our laps too!!).  It is hilarious!   When
we bring him anywhere, he becomes a perfect little ANGEL, so we call him our little "con-artist"
because he puts on such a great act for people!!
Potty training from the 6th floor is a challenge, but he is doing great on his leash, and taking long
walks to meet new doggie friends around Lafayette Square!!
We took him to Dr. King (who we adore).  He is healthy and Dr. King has been so great.  Thank
you so much for everything you have done and how supportive you have been.
We are SO thrilled to have him, and feel lucky to give this little guy a good home for life!!! We are
spoiling him with lots of love :)
Again, thank you for everything!!!!!!!
All the best to you,   Suzanne

Hi Helen,

We just wanted you to know that Andy(the little cava-poo) we
adopted last sat. has adapted quite nicely to his new home. He is so
playful and loveable.  He does really well with the granddaughters.

We love him and can tell he cares for us too, thanks again

Hi Helen!
I wanted to give you an update of my 6-month old Shih-Tzu, Rooney (you know him as Timmy),
that I adopted from your rescue.  He is an absolute joy in my life.  I am so thankful for him.  He
had no difficulties adjusting to life with me.  From the very first day he has been very
well-behaved, friendly and intelligent.  He is also very popular with friends, family, neighbors,
and strangers.  When we are out and about, he receives lots of hugs and rubs.  He gets along
well with other doggies and has been very easy to train.  He has also received high-marks from
the Vet, the groomer, and the dog trainer.
I want to thank you for providing such a wonderful service to all of the dogs.  I highly
recommend your facility to friends and family.
I have attached a copy of a recent photo.  You can tell that he is VERY happy.

Sincerely,
Michelle

Helen,
Thank you SO much for Boris, the German Shepherd! He is already settling into our family like a champ! After
less than two days with us, he's well on to potty training and walks nicely on a loose lead. He's even taking
on the stairs that he was (at first) totally afraid of! Plus, he heels so well (almost too well, as we do tend to
trip over him sometimes) and has already shown signs of knowing how to sit and give paw. A true testament
to the courage, loyalty, and intelligence of the German Shepherd and a testament to how nicely the puppies
are treated at Posh Puppies Rescue!
Our grumpy old cat, Brecker isn't too thrilled with him and hisses and tries to paw at him. But Boris just
looks at him like "Hey, you should be playing with me, cause it's fun, and besides, you have no front claws,
so there!"
Our toddler, Jameson, already treats Boris like a big brother and doesn't try to jump on him or pull his fur as
we feared he would. We only had to say "No, nice to doggy." one time, and since then he just toddles
around after Boris and pets him nicely.
I really hope that Baron found a family, as I don't see him on your adoption page any more. It was really hard
not to just adopt them both!
I'll send a picture of the family with Boris later, but here's a cute one I got while cleaning up an 'accident' at
2am! He really likes to watch me scrub poo off the floor. I think he's secretly holding out on potty training
because he likes it so much...

Tiffini and James
& Jameson, Boris, and Brecker , too!
Dear Posh Puppies,
We adopted Millie (her name now is Shelby) in early March, and she has been
a joyful addition to the family.  Shelby plays in the grass in our back
yard, has learned to bark hello at passers-by, and has discovered how to
play with dog toys--so much fun!  She is good company for our 11 year old
mini schnauzer, Bailey, and the two get along really pretty well.  Shelby
has learned so much--how to use her back legs to go up and down stair steps,
to sit before getting fed, walking on a leash.  She has a sunny personality
and still loves to be held and cuddled.  We are so glad to have the
privilege of having her join our family.  Here is a picture of Shelby
(cropped ears) and Bailey.  Doesn't she look like she's grinning from ear to
ear?
All the best to you,
Heather & Mark and Family
Hello ---

Am so glad I found your organization online & my wonderful little puppy, Luke, a
Cavalier/Cocker mix.  He’s absolutely adorable and is now living a very pampered
life--- and he’s such a snuggle-puppy!  Loves to be a lap-dog and of course we all
love that as well.  Thank you for all that you do !!  I am spreading the word about
your organization to everyone I know.

Thanks!  Jeanne ,  Luke’s new mom .
Dear Helen,

We would like to thank you for the amazing job you are doing rescuing
these precious animals.  Your strong commitment is evident and is
greatly appreciated!   We would like to thank you for bringing George
into our life.   He has made a perfect addition to our family.
He is absolutely adorable and loves to play with his big sister
Pugsly.   When he is not playing with his new toys or resting on a
bean bag, he is cuddling with his mommy and daddy!   Thank you
again
for helping complete our family and allowing us to give George a
forever home!

Hi Helen its been a while, I just wanted to give you an update on Denny
(aka Dennis Michael Faught). He is doing great, he is 19lbs gained 14 since
we got him in Oct. He is the most lovable baby in the world, not only is he sweet
we think hes brilliant he does many tricks. He is also very spoiled, but when your
as cute as him its allowed. We love him so much! I never thought I could love a
puppy
like I (we) do him. I will send you photos, he looks like a chubby stuffed teddy
bear.
Thank you so much for bringing him into our lives, and for all you do for these
animals.
I always tell everyone to adopt. I will send photos soon. Thank You and God
Bless.
                               Eternally Grateful,
                                Monica
We adopted Benny (formerly known as Jangle) from you in December.
Because of the wonderful work you do, we have been blessed with a much
loved addition to our family.  It breaks my heart to think what his fate may have
been if not for your organization. We're so very grateful for what you do.

Thank you, thank you, thank you

Janice
Hi! Just wanted to drop you a line about Hannah (we kept her name) adopted March 9. She is
so awesome! We love her so much and she is doing great. She was the absolute perfect
puppy for us. She weighs 9 lbs. now and all her little wrinkles are starting to fill out. She loves
everyone and they can't help but love her. I sent pics of her with my oldest. She just fits right
in. The cat is still her best friend and she wrestles the 40lb. cattle dog like she's big! Thank you
again for what you do!

Sincerely,
Amanda
Hey Helen,

I thought you would like an update on Molly (Daisy).  She is doing very well.  She has mastered so
many new skills!  She no longer lives in her cage full time, so the first thing she had to learn was to go
outside to go to the potty.  We have had only one accident!  She also did not know how to go up and
down stairs, now she runs up and down flights of stairs all day long.  She loves to play with all of her
dog toys and thinks it's the coolest thing that all she has to do is go over to the door and someone will
open it for her.  She adores our other dog Sadie and knows when the kids get home from school that it
is time to play.  She loves her back yard and often goes outside just to sit on the porch in the sun.  She
is polite and very responsive.  She is so eager to please.  I take her everywhere I go because she
seemed quite shy of unfamiliar places--we are still working on that.  She is walking on a lead everyday
and starts basic training next month.  We also have been working with our groomer to help her get
used to being groomed.  She goes once a week for grooming "handling" and has made remarkable
progress in allowing herself to be groomed.  She really is a great little dog and we are happy to have
her.  I forget we have only had her less than a month, it seems like she has always been with us!

I will keep you posted on her progress.

Stephanie
Dear Helen,
I thought you might like an update on Sherman. He had his first bday last month and has
grown into such a loving and calm boy. He is truly my daughter's first best friend (I'm
attaching a pic of her "reading" to him) and I call him my gym b/c our daily walks are as
good for me as they are for him.

My father is not a "big dog" person and wasn't thrilled when we brought home our big guy.
However, Shermy's sweet and loving demeanor have even won over Grandpa, who now
brings him tennis balls and other treats on a regular basis. Given that Sherm now weighs
more than both human grandkids put together...he is a very special dog indeed!

He is such a cherished member of our family. All who know him (and he makes friends
everywhere he goes) adore him. Thank you again for all that you do to give these wonderful
dogs a second chance at happiness. Our Shermy is such a blessing to us!
Christi
Dear Posh Puppies,
We would like to thank you and update you on Gizmo and Maddie (Chloe).  We were fell in love
with them in August of 2008.  Since then, they have brought nothing but joy, happiness, and
laughter to our household.  Gizmo, even though he is small, he is mighty.  He is the instigator
of many play fights between him and Maddie.  Gizmo can also be a little cuddle bug too.  In the
evenings he loves to curl up with us on the couch or chair and watch movies and TV.  Maddie,
formerly Chloe, is a bundle of energy.  Maddie can be a little stubborn at times, but she makes
up with it with her bubbly personality.  Maddie does love to eat anything and everything she
has access to.  If a chip or some popcorn falls on the floor, you can count on Maddie to be
there in seconds.  Maddie also loves to meet new people.  Whenever we are out in public, she
wants to meet everybody and she wants everybody to meet her.  Maddie loves to go on
walks/runs and she usually wears us out.

Maddie and Gizmo are the best of friends.  They miss each other whenever they are apart.  You
can see it in their eyes that they are so excited when they get reunited again.  They have a
large fenced in back yard that they like to chase each other around in and a deck that they can
sunbathe on.  Maddie and Gizmo play hard during the day, and crash even harder in the
evenings.  We are so happy that we found these two and cannot even imagine our house
without them.

Thanks Posh Puppies,

Scott and Liz H.
I want to update you on Abby (Taffy). She has made so much progress. She's starting to interact
with us and she's exploring the rooms in our house rather than sitting quietly in a corner for long
periods of time. She's adapted well to walking on a leash and enjoys our daily walks. I get tears in
my eyes when she's outside and pauses to look upward taking in the sun and the wind. It's such
a joy to watch her as learns all about the world.

I've attached two recent photos.

Helen,

Just thought we would send you a note to let you know how well Leona is doing.  She
walks outside on a leash and does very good for no longer than she has been doing it.
She has only had one accident in the house and that was the day after we brought her
homeDo you know anything about the dog Carrie that my daughter was interested in?
Thanks again for new addition.

Hello,
We are so happy with Winston (formerly known as Jackson).  He is a very smart and loyal
dog.  He is always happy every time we come home and will not leave our sides for
anything. I have never seen a dog wag his tail as much as he does.
We are currently taking puppy classes and will be graduating later next month.  He has
learned to sit, lay down, shake, and stay. He is the star of the class because he is so
quick to learn new tricks.
He has grown so much the last few months.  He has almost doubled in size and can
almost climb on the sofa now.
I've attached a couple of pictures. He has made a wonderful addition to our family, we
love him so much.

Hi,
We just wanted to update you on Zoe.  She is so lively and wonderful
and we wonder what life was like with out her.  She is such a beautiful
Boston and so perfect. Just wanted to share some pictures of her
completely spoiled life !!  We are so proud and love her so much.

Thanks for letting us adopt Zoe from you !!!

Hello,
I just wanted to let you know that we are absolutely in love with our new puppy. The puppy you
knew to be sweet and loving has already brought so many smiles and laughs at his new home. We
are so pleased with him, and have told many of our friends and clients about your agency! We
have named our new puppy Oliver, but mainly call him Ollie; we thought it was perfect because of
the orphan Oliver. Ollie seems to love us already and is adjusting wonderfully....he has pretty
much mastered the "sit" command and is doing very well with housetraining-at least for the most
part :)
Attached are some pictures of him at his new home!
Thank you,
Gayla and Darren
Helen,
I believe I promised you photos...
1st "Mason Lauren" attachment is the night he arrived; he is asleep on
Lauren...very happy & content...
2nd photo was taken earlier after we arrived home...Lauren (blonde) and her
babysitter with Mason...

He has been such a pleasure to have!
Already learned "sit" and we are going to Puppy Kindergarten next Thursday - a 7
week class the whole family gets to go to!
Our yard is fenced in - a great addition - so now he can run and fetch the tennis
ball without a leash...make sure he gets his needed exercise!!!

Hope you are well, we will keep you posted on his milestones!
Take care,

Heather
Hi Helen,
Clark (formerly known as Carleton) is loving his new home
and his big pug brother Bruce.  He is a very affectionate boy
who loves giving kisses and snuggling! He loves chasing his
tail and playing outside!
Thanks so much for all you do and rescuing our beautiful
puggy boy!
Chris, Michelle and Bruce
We wanted to let you know how wonderful Birdie (nee Henry) is!  After we lost our
sweet Maggie, I was desperate to find a baby to bring some joy back into our lives,
including Tucker’s, our sweet 9 yr old boy.  We were all very sad and lonely.  I came to
Posh Puppies to look at a couple of your babies but at that time Birdie was not on my
list.  I had to wait for one of the other puppies I wanted to look at so I decided to spend
some time with Birdie and fell in love!  I immediately called my husband and we decided
that Birdie was the one we wanted to take home.  After spending a week getting to
know each other, Tucker and Birdie started playing and hardly ever stop.  Birdie is a
very silly and very smart boy.  He climbs all over Tucker and can completely jump over
the top of him.  Birdie loves toys and luckily we already had a full toy box.  And he loves
all people and all dogs.  He walks beautifully on his leash and started sitting on
command almost from day one.  We are all very lucky to have our “baby bird” in our
lives.  Thank you for taking care of him until we found him.

Hello Miss Helen! I am not sure if you remember me or not. I used to live at your
home, but now I live in Denver. My name used to be Bobby, but my mommy
renamed me to Oreo because she thinks I am soooo sweet. Anyway, today is my
first birthday and I wanted to send you a picture of the celebration. I am 30 lbs
now! WOW! I go to doggy daycare to play with other doggies 2 days a week – boy
that sure poops me out! Mommy takes me for a walk every day and to the doggy
park about once a week, too. I have had problems with my digestive system but I
think we finally found some food that is good for my tummy. I miss you, Miss
Helen, and I hope my mommy can meet you some day to thank you for bringing me
to her.
Love, Joyce
Oreo (Bobby the Boston)
Adopted January 2009

I have been meaning to write to you about our amazing little guy we got from you back in
August. You know him as Timmy, he was one of the brothers to Taz. We have enjoyed him
tremendously and are so happy we got him. He is almost seven months old and he is
doing GREAT on the potty training. I read a lot about training a Shih Tzu and they said that
it would be one of the most frustrating parts of being an owner of a Shih Tzu. I really don't
think it was that bad. He is so smart and such a joy. He loves to play fetch and he knows
about five tricks. I love playing with him and teaching him new things. We will be driving to
Texas on Wednesday for Thanksgiving and Ranger will be going with us. He loves car
rides and I hope that he does well on this long journey, I think he will. My parents have wii
partys on Friday nights and they have two maltese dogs and we bring Ranger and they
have such a good time together. My family loves him just as much as we do. Thank you
again for our little pride and joy. I have attached some pictures of Ranger with this email
so you can see how he is today.

Hi Helen
Little Oliver has certainly won all our hearts! He has only been here 1
day and already learning to go potty in the yard! He is taken out there
after naps, after drinking, after playing and eating... What a little doll--
he runs after his "big brother" MIYAGI  and  tries to be the Alpha
male-- MIYAGI  just lets him bounce
all over him and does'nt even growl...OLIVER has met some of Jim's
family and
has had his picture taken so will try to download some for you.
Sending you one
of our older dog, MIYAGI. You'd be proud OLIVER sleeps well on a
heated gel pad
covered by a towel... He's quite the little KING already! Happy we could
rescue
a pup so good--- THANKS AGAIN,  Debby & Jim
Dear Helen,

I wanted to give you a quick update on Bernie, the Eskipoo we adopted from your wonderful
organization on September 18th.  He is now affectionately known as Henry and is the star of our
family.  You surely remember how timid he was.  Not anymore!  He has really come out of his shell.
He has an amazing personality and is responding well to training.  He has bonded with our whole
family and gets along great with our small children.  They just love him so much.  We all do.  In fact,
everywhere he goes, he attracts admirers.  The whole veterinary staff is in love with him.  (The vet,
by the way, said you had obviously taken good care of him - thank you.)  I have - and will continue to -
recommend you to anyone looking to adopt a dog.  Thanks so much for giving us such a wonderful
new family member.  He's just as sweet as we hoped he would be.  I've attached a recent snapshot of
his big, handsome smile!  Have a great day.

Here are some pictures of Harley (Justin) that we adopted on
10/12/09.  He is doing fine and as you can see in the one picture he
spends a lot of his time playing with Sadie.  Housebreaking is coming
along and he no longer makes messes in his crate but does have
occasional accidents especially when playing.  He has been a great
addition to our family and we thoroughly enjoy his bubbly personality.

Sincerely,
Christy

Helen,

Hello. Thought you might like an update on Mady (the black and tan
Chihuahua).  My husband and I have had her almost 3 months now and we
adore her.  She is a very affectionate and playful little dog.  Some of her
favorite things are sitting in the sunshine, taking walks, playing with cat
toys, curling up under the covers, and going on car rides.  We are currently
taking training classes and she has almost mastered basic commands.
Many thanks for giving dogs like Madelyn the chance to have a home.

Cynthia
Dear Helen and friends,
I wanted to give you an update on the adorable little Cocklier we adopted from you
in July.  You knew her as Rachel, but she is now Gabby.  She is such a sweet girl!  I
got just what we wanted - a velcro puppy.  She loves being with us and we still melt,
looking in her eyes.  She is definitely more Cocker than Cavalier.  She's around 24
pounds now.  Unfortunately, we're having some problems currently, finding a food
that settles well with her.  Her tummy seems to be somewhat sensitive, but we're
working on it.  She graduated from Puppy Kindergarten last month.

I tried to send this to you via the website, but my computer doesn't like yahoo links,
so I hope this makes it to you intact.
Thank you for availing Gabby to us.  We're loving every minute we spend with her!

Helen (and everyone at Posh Puppies Rescue),

Hello! We wanted to let you know that Millie and Mabel are doing well. They were awesome during the long drive home. Ashley, our
7-year-old Saint Bernard, accepted both them right away. Ashley loves playing with Mabel. Ashley and Millie are unsure of each
other, but there has not been any negative interactions. Mabel has had some accidents in the house, but overall is doing well on
going potty outside. Millie is slowly adjusting to her new home. She is confused, but is starting to eat and go potty outside --- no
accidents. And she's enjoying a comfortable home with lots of love. Both girls have stuck by our sides outside and come when they
are called. They are bonding quickly to the whole family and did well with visitors today and with meeting the neighbor dogs.

We are attaching a picture of all three girls together.

Thank you for making Millie and Mabel part of our family!

Hello Helen,

Annie is adapting well. We renamed her Annie Faith....as all puppies she
is full of love and mischief!!! Everyone of our neighbors have fallen in
love with her. When I take her for a walk, she follows me without a leash.
We are thinking to sign her up for training classes, but she is slowly
being housetrained. Here are some photos.

Hi Helen,
I am finally sending you some pictures of Hannah. She is a beautiful,
loving little companion and I cannot thank Posh Puppies enough for
the joy she brings me every day! We are hoping to get her a new
brother or sister in the next month or two - from Posh Puppies
Rescue, of course!
Jane
We adopted Angel (Elizabeth)-a buff colored Cockapoo several weeks ago.
She is so full of life and energy and fun!
She is so wonderful.
The six hour ride back home went perfect.
She never even had an accident in the car and we went straight through.
She is truly the joy of our family.
Very smart and has been so easy to train!
The kids say she was sent from heaven for us, that's why they named her Angel.
Ofcourse we are all very worried about Hershey.
Did he ever get adopted by a loving family?
Can't help thinking about him and being concerned.
Thank you for all the wonderful work you do.
Hope you and your families all have a very Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving!

The Rage Family
Helen,

All I can say is thank you!  We adopted Paxton the Malti-poo a bout 2 months ago he
is not 6 months old and is all boy.  His tail never stops wagging, he is happy to meet
everyone.  Everyone in the family just adores him, including my niece and nephew.
He does well with other dogs and the groomers just adore him he loves to get a bath
and be brushed; he just sprawls out and nods off.  My husband has taken to him so
much they are inseparable they take naps together, have dinner together, and take
walks together; me and my boys.  All I can say is he was well worth the wait in getting
a dog.  We love him so much.  Thanks again.

Hi Helen - Have finally got some pics for you. Don't know if I told you but we changed Brandon's name to Brennan
- in Gaelic it means "little drop" (we couldn't find a name meaning little hell raiser : ) He is growing - last vet visit
he weighed in at 6lb - 1 lb up from his wt soon after he got here. He is "daddy's boy" as you can see in the pic. He
usually can be found on Walt's lap or close by. SOmetimes I get a turn but I often whine that I want a puppy that
will come to me first! You can see the three beagles all together - all boys. the other 3 are all girls but were off
playing elsewhere in the yard. The tug of war is a daily event here - as well as seeing who can race the yard
"Course" and win the Preakness every day. Usually the gold dog (Precious, used to be my son's dog and who is
mommy to the pups - VERY sweet dog) wins the race and wins the tug of war but it is very amusing to see her
dragging both of them across the room while they hold on with all their might. That little boy just doesn't give up
either! He is a tough nut! And isn't the pic of the two pups sweet - they often sleep on the pillow together. My
boys. Can you believe the bigger pup is half Brennan's age? He was a huge pup when we got him and he is really
growing as well. They are both healthy and happy. The vet is happy with their health and growth. I call them for
every cough and sneeze for Brennan because he reminds me of the baby I lost so everything scares me.
Fortunately, the vet is very understanding and eases my fears - iften over the phone. I'll give him an extra kiss
and hug from you tonight and remind him his other mommy misses and loves him very much. He is VERY loved
and spoiled rotten here. We may be moving in the next few months to another piece of farm land with lots of
room for all the animals so I may not be in touch for a while as the home has to be built and we;ll be living in our
church's parsonage - don't know if there will be computer access there or not. It's small but only for 3 months if
all goes well. And we don't know for certain when we move yet so i'll try to let you know. Hope all is well wiht you
and the babies there. Thank you so much for this precious baby. He is the light of our lives. e
My husband and I had seen Oliver the peekapoo on your website for a month before
we finally came to look at him.  The minute you brought him out to meet us, we just fell
in love!  We knew he had been there waiting for us all along.  He has helped us heal
from the loss of our Maltese Maggie who had passed away due to cancer in January.
He came into our hearts immediately and has just been such a joy to have in our lives.
He has also become best friends with his older cat brother, as you can see in the
picture :).  He is very happy to have his new home, and we are even happier to have
him here.  Thanks so much for all you do with your rescue.  It is truely a wonderful
thing!

Hi!  Just wanted to let you know that we absolutely LOVE Jordan (now named
Maverick).  He is such a wonderful dog, and you can just see how happy he is to
have a home, he has hardly left our arms since we brought him home, he is a
healthy little guy and is quickly becoming the boss of the house.

Here is the latest picture of him…    Thanks so much rescuing him from where ever
he came from, we absolutely love him.

Hello!
I just wanted to take a minute to tell you how happy we are with our little Maltese
angel.  Reggie is the absolute perfect addition to our family, and he is the perfect
puppy!  He has a very laid back personality and he loves to snuggle.  I am so glad that
we found your rescue!
Sincerely, The Owens Family
We adopted Lily on Friday and already she is part of the family.
My husband and I absolutely love her.  She is doing well with
housebreaking (with just a few accidents).  I think she is pretty
happy with her new home.  Thank you for all you do and for
helping us find Lily

Hi, This is about 5-6 weeks ago but she is doing really well, she is very smart
and she is a great little girl and she did great in puppy class!!!
We named her Sassy and she is already but 12 lbs and she has most of her
adult teeth in now and she is getting her adult fur in as well.
She plays with my Tri color, he is almost 3 and they are turning out to be best
friends! This is the night we drove home with her, this is the first time she
meets Stormy my Tri color!!

Thanks, Tony
Helen,

I have a cute picture of "Chauncey" and thought you would like to
hear that he is doing well! We are still working on potty training but
he has learned to sit and stay for a treat which is very cute. :)  By
the way, we renamed him Norman.

Take care! Jill
Hi Helen!  I just wanted to send an update on Sammy (he was Richie when you knew
him).  We are working on house training him and he is doing fantastic!!  We are very in

Sammy.  Thanks!!

Just thought we would send you a note to let you know how well Leona is doing.  She walks
outside on a leash and does very good for no longer than she has been doing it.  She has only
had one accident in the house and that was the day after we brought her homeDo you know
anything about the dog Carrie that my daughter was interested in? Thanks again for new
addition.       Mary Lynn
Helen,

Just wanted to let you know that things are going very well.  Sylvia is doing really well with
housebreaking.  Only 1 accident so far and that was the first day.  She gets her business done quickly
when outside so seems to know that is why we go out.  She sort of lets me know when shes gotta go.
Our first pug took 9 months.

Also our vet and myself were very impressed with everything that was done for Sylvia before she
came here.  Her little toy and bag of food showed that she was loved on your end.  She came out great
with her first vet visit and they thought she was a doll.

Our pug Charlie is in total love with Sylvia.  They are together all the time when she is awake and he
sits outside her crate and waits for her to wake up!  It is so cute!  Our older dog just stays away.  She
does not like getting her hair pulled.

All in all it is going well.  We just need to watch Sylvia every minute as she is quite the chewer!
I am enclosing a picture of Sylvia and her new boyfriend!
Thanks a bunch!!!!

Hello Helen,
Just wanted to drop in to update you on Barnabey...we have renamed him Romeo. Which
we have already shortened to Romey.  He has settled in beautifully.  He is such a snuggler.  I
have found it so hard to get out of bed in the morning because he is laying so close and
snuggled in so sweetly.  He has taken so well to my children, Sydney and Luke.  They LOVE
him!!!!  And his big brother Reggie is trying to show him the ropes as far as potty training
goes...gonna take awhile I'm thinkin...LOL.  I will send pictures soon!
We absolutely adore him.  THANK YOU so much for allowing him to become such a
wonderful addition to our family.
I will keep in touch.

Heidi

On or about 10/17/2009 we came to your facility to adopt a puppy and make a good home for him/her. After waiting several hours for others to
make their choice, our turn came at last. We initially wanted a Westie and had pretty much decided on that breed above all others. When our
turn came to view the pups, my wife saw the lone picture of Bradley the Beagle. He looked so sad and had such big droopy ears that we
decided to look at him first. Well, needless to say, before he even came into the room, my wife took one look at that face and those sad hound
eyes and the choice was made, Bradley was coming home with us. Now, several months later, he has a new name, Snoopy, and is a very happy
and healthy hound. His addition to our home has been wonderful! Of course, we had to go through the "puppy stage" of chewing, whining,
BARKING!, and housebreaking, but he did it all very well. He knows what "no bite!" means, he sits for treats, goes outside for all
"business", never barks, and is a joy to have around. Thank you SO MUCH for helping us find a puppy to replace our poor old girl we had to put
down. She will never be forgotten, but Snoopy has a place in our hearts too. I have attached some pictures of Snoopy so you can see him.
Please feel free to use this letter as a testimony to your good work. Thanks again!

Hello all,
In December, we adopted Speedy.  I just thought I would send you a note and tell you that he is
getting along wonderfully in our household.
Speedy has been renamed:  Al Lee Gator, and goes by Gator.
Iggy and Modo (Iggy Wanna and K Modo Dragon) get along with him fabulously, and all is well.
Thank you again for the opportunity to adopt Gator, and bring him into our home.

PS  attached are some photos of Gator and his new family.
