| On this page we are showcasing some of the older puppies who have been in our care for an extended period of time. Unfortunately, the older ones are oftentimes overlooked in lieu of the younger ones here at the rescue. | BOBBY is a 3- year-old purebred fawn coloration Pug who is neutered and current on vaccinations and dewormer. He has also been tested heartworm negative, as well. BOBBY is an incredibly friendly and loving dude! He was born with a birth defect~curvature of the spine~I would call it the canine version of Scoliosis. Although he walks and runs in a slightly sideways manner, he definitely DOES NOT let his disability get him down. He runs and plays just as any other dog here at the rescue~he just looks a little different while he's doing it! There is nothing that can be done for it and it is not painful to him whatsoever~it's just the way God made him. He and his brother, ROBBY, are bonded to each other, have always been together and MUST be adopted together. He really depends on him for moral support and lots of love. These boys came to us as puppies, were adopted out together to a married couple at the age of about 12-weeks-old and were returned to us recently because their mom & dad were having marital problems~unfortunately, in this case, it was the dogs who ultimately lost their happy home and suffered the grief of losing their family. Luckily, they don't let it get them down in the least!. They are both incredibly loving and happy-go-lucky boys! They absolutely love to play and give lots of wet Puggy kisses to whomever is near! They get along wonderfully with children and other animals, too. They are both very precious boys who are very eager to find a loving, forever home of their very own.
